I'm from Pittsburgh!

I may be sitting a long way from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, i.e. 7,204 miles (11,592 km) according to GEOBYTES' Distance Calculator, still, YouThink says that I've got a Midland accent in spoken English!

What American accent do you have? (Best version so far)

Midland

("Midland" is not necessarily the same thing as "Midwest") The default, lowest-common-denominator American accent that newscasters try to imitate. Since it's a neutral accent, just because you have a Midland accent doesn't mean you're from the Midland.

that is an interesting quiz.. i took it too. However, I don't know if it is very accurate. Living all my life in America, they tell me that I have a Canadian accent. (go figure! ) :)

Mine is Northern
