Vote for "Paggrri" (Turban)

As the local council elections approach, campaigns are at their high... Above is a poster for a candidate named Chaudhry Ishfaq Ahmad Jiggar whose election symbol is Paggrri (Turban) that can also be seen on the upper right of the poster.

Paggrri itself is a symbol of pride and honor in rural Punjab, NWFP and Balochistan....

Oh yes...Definnetly this is the common issue in air these days...
The only part of my interest is, when people come up with those funny, Symbols.

Football
Tractor
hockey
Rose
and God knows so many more..

I sometimes think..if the symbols are so funny..sometimes ridiculous..how funny those people would be, and there elections campaigns, on my way back to home, i see small groups of people sitting here and there drinking bottle and chatting with each other. Marketing themselves as the GOOD PEOPLE, who can be good Managers of "AWAM's"(people's) Affairs!
GOD BLESS THE POOR AWAM.

But election symbols are not assigned on candidate's choice...
It's done by the Elections Authority
